When SoL 25 starts for the first time after the installation, instead of firing up every server, program and service it can find, it will just do the necessary basic host and network configuration and start the SSH daemon to allow remote logins. Thus, the system is in a very clean and secure state, giving the administrator exact control of the configuration.
